Wish List

CASA of St. Louis County welcomes donations from the community, including in-kind donations of products and services. The following list details our current needs from new books for the CASA resource room to auction items for our annual fundraiser. If you, your employer, your family or your friends are willing to make an in-kind, tax-deductible donation, please contact the CASA office.

CASA Wish List

  • More CASA volunteers
  • Funding to support more CASA volunteers
  • Non-violent books and toys for all ages
  • New backpacks and duffel bags
  • New classic board games and playing cards
  • New school and art supplies
  • Gift cards and certificates to thank CASA volunteers for extra special advocacy efforts or to give to CASA volunteers to use with their CASA kids during visits
  • Gift cards to discount department stores (e.g. Target, Value city Wal-Mart) and grocery stores to give to CASA children who are in independent living programs and learning how to successfully live on their own while finishing high school and preparing for life after foster care
  • All wishes fulfilled for CASA children with an ornament hanging on the Giving Tree at Whole Foods Market on Brentwood

Resource Room
Many of the children we serve have few possessions of their own. The Resource Room offers items for our volunteers to give to their CASA kids.

  • New undergarments for ages birth to 18
  • Non-violent toys for ages birth to 18
  • Non-violent books for ages birth to 18
  • New or gently used backpacks, duffle bags and suitcases
  • New art supplies (markers, crayons, paints, drawing pads)
  • New board games
  • New school supplies

Other Events
We have a number of events throughout the year that fundraise for our organization. The following are donations we can use as raffle, auction, or other gift items:

  • Themed gift baskets
  • Vacations/weekend getaways (e.g. car rentals, hotel/condo/ resort stays, airline tickets)
  • Gift certificates for products and services (e.g. car detailing, hair styling, restaurants)
  • Attendance gifts for each guest and volunteer (e.g. fragrance, wrapped chocolate)
  • Printing of invitations, programs and/or signs
  • Signed sports memorabilia with certificates of authenticity
  • Hard-to-find or unique items
  • Cash contributions to underwrite event

Volunteer Appreciation
Since April is National Volunteer Appreciation Month, we recognize the amazing contributions of our volunteers with this annual recognition.

  • New or used office furniture (e.g. conference table with matching chairs, desks, chairs)
