Smartypants Trivia Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of St. Louis County hosted Smartypants Trivia Night March 29th at the Maryland Heights Centre. The night was a fantastic success for the abused and neglected children CASA serves, raising more than $20,000 to help them find safe and permanent homes. The event was sponsored by Anhueser-Busch Recycling Corporation; Judy & David Clifford; Peggy & David Davis; Edward Jones; Husch, Blackwell, Sanders, LLP; Lou Fusz; Allan & Nancy Meyers; Allie & Tom Ray; Southwest Bank; Mary Verbanaz; and Whole Foods Market. Local celebrities, including Buck Collier of The Suburban Journals; Taylor J. from Z107.7; Theresa Petry of CW11; Paul Schankman of FOX 2 News; and Jess Spencer from Z107.7, rotated to sponsor tables to help answer trivia questions. Ray Preston and Lisa Manzo from KMOV Channel 4 served as Emcees for the evening. Fredbird was also on hand for pictures with event guests.
